Moving the Kite Halyard Cleat

I noticed on a youtube clip of a spinnaker drop that there's nobody at the mast leaving two people to gather the kite. I've now found out how it's done. They use a gizmo called a parker.

What it does is hold the cleat away from the mast. This means the spin halyard can be led back to the cockpit and a sharp tug on the halyard will pull the line towards the mast and release it from the cleat. This solves another problem we've been getting as the halyard keeps putting itself back in the cleat during the drops as the halyard runs up the side of the mast.

Here's a picture of one.
